For your own sake and that of your baby, you must keep eating well and get some rest to prepare for the upcoming final sprint. Because labor could start at any time, enjoy every moment of rest and appreciate your healthy little meals.

The Apgar test, done after birth, determines the overall health of your baby. Five criteria are evaluated on a scale from zero to two for a maximum of 10. An Apgar score of 7 is good. The criteria are: skin color, pulse rate, reflex irritability, muscle tone and breathing. For example, if your baby is pink (2 points), if his body is pink but his extremities are blue (1 point) and if he is pale all over or blue (0 point).
