We will of course always continue to evolve by being in contact with our wonderful little teachers. Our constant questioning and ability to honor our values will always be essential to our well-being and that of our children.
Don’t forget that changing our values can be a long process, and that in order to choose different values, we must first understand which ones we already have.
Identifying our values
To know what is important to us, we have to observe our own actions and the way we use our time. We might realize upon reflection that we are ignoring aspects that are really important for us, and thus find out what our true values are. There is no judgment to be made about the things we value. Knowing and accepting our values and what they represent is very important.
Identify the values that are important to you and ask yourself if you act accordingly.
