Everyday clothes

Being concerned with the way we look, taking care of the way we dress, doing our hair and wearing make-up are not only good for weekends or work days. It is important to take some time to look good for us, not only for other people. It is possible to feel beautiful every day even when you are a stay-at-home mom, without wearing an evening gown or a suit!

Choosing your fabrics is important: you must choose natural and elastic fibres. Softness and flexibility are important to feel comfortable all day.

Sophisticated and sexy apparel should only be worn during adults’ nights out. The same goes for stilettos. During the day, you should aim for comfort, simplicity, style and femininity.

To spice up your outfit, accessorize with some trendy items: handbags, watch, ring or bracelet. Here are a few suggestions of clothing:

Jeans: They should not make you look like a muffin (with the little strip of fat hanging down all around your waist). Make sure that the waist is not too low. It will give you much more latitude to choose a top.

Cardigan – shawl: V-neck vest without buttons of different lengths (somewhere between mid-hips and half of your thighs)

Stylish jersey t-shirt (ex: heart warmer, draped neckline, shirred shoulders and neckline, empire waist)

Yoga style apparel

Boots and slippers all at once UGG, indoor and outdoor styles (ultra comfortable and stylish)

Legging or jeggings – wear with a tunic (mid-thigh length minimum)

Mid-thigh length coat Carefully choose one that is not too sporty or too masculine.

Wear hoes with soft and non-slip soles, with or without heels. I am not talking about a schoolboy shoe with think and massive soles! There are feminine versions on the market that are both stylish and comfortable. Keep your sport shoes for… sports!

In fact, you must avoid wearing pyjamas and old clothes all day long. If you are spending most of your time at home, then you must invest in everyday clothes. Pick quality over quantity, your clothes will keep their shape and you will truly notice a difference in the comfort level.

Taking a few minutes every day to do your hair and wear some make-up (foundation, bronzer, mascara, eye shadow in neutral colors and gloss) will enhance your outfit and give you a little boost of energy.

Ear infections, antibiotics, and prevention

Becoming a parent also means being acquainted with several small infections encountered during our own childhood. Ear infections are numerous and can leave you having lots of questions. We try to respond to the most frequent ones.

My child is often absentminded!

Do you find yourself often repeating phrases like "Hello? Is anyone there?" ? If so, it seems that your child is often absentminded. Here's how to help your distracted children stay concentrated.

A teenager’s bedroom

Your teenager's bedroom is a disaster. You even invented new words to describe this horrendous place where food and clothes seem to blend into a new kind of carpet but your child doesn't seem to mind. What can you do?

My child is smelly!

Your child is now 6 years old. The innocence of childhood still shines brightly in his or her eyes but… they're smelly! When your child gets hot, you scrunch your nose and smell a tinge of sweat. Are they too young for deodorant?
