Dating a single mom

Love

Someone once told me that I was an old-school romantic. Maybe I am. I like to believe that people meet in hope to find someone who will share better days and better nights. I also like the idea that this new person who shares our life could eventually become a member of our family. I think that we must take every aspect of our new lover’s life into consideration. I also think it is dishonest and selfish to begin a relationship with a single mother knowing that you will never want to be part of her children’s lives.

Of course, I talk about long-term relationships. At first, there is a date, then another, then another… Just like with a childless woman, you could have less in common than expected and decide to leave it at that. However, if you think it is possible to build a beautiful relationship with that woman that you’ve just met, do not give up because of her children, her precious time and her financial limits. The adventure is worth it, I can promise you that! And you will be glad to know these beautiful people much faster than you think.

My child is often absentminded!

Do you find yourself often repeating phrases like "Hello? Is anyone there?" ? If so, it seems that your child is often absentminded. Here's how to help your distracted children stay concentrated.

A teenager’s bedroom

Your teenager's bedroom is a disaster. You even invented new words to describe this horrendous place where food and clothes seem to blend into a new kind of carpet but your child doesn't seem to mind. What can you do?

My child is smelly!

Your child is now 6 years old. The innocence of childhood still shines brightly in his or her eyes but… they're smelly! When your child gets hot, you scrunch your nose and smell a tinge of sweat. Are they too young for deodorant?
