Vaccination, Immunization and Protection

Can vaccines damage or exhaust my child’s immune system?

No. From birth, the body defends itself every day against thousands of microbes contained in the air, in water, in food or on objects. Vaccines use only a tiny part of the immune system. In fact, vaccines act by stimulating the immune system.

My child has a good diet and good health. Is this enough to protect against infectious diseases?

No. Good habits of life ensure a healthier life. It is known that a healthy child is more resistant to infections. However, even taking vitamins, herbs or homoeopathic granules that stimulate the immune system does not offer specific protection against viruses and bacteria that cause vaccine-preventable diseases.

Is the protection received by breastfeeding sufficient?

No. Breastfeeding protects infants against certain infections such as colds and ear infections because the child receives protein from their mother’s milk that stimulates their immune system. Unfortunately, breastfeeding does not protect infants from the diseases that vaccination prevents.

A teenager’s bedroom

My child is smelly!

Your child is now 6 years old. The innocence of childhood still shines brightly in his or her eyes but… they're smelly! When your child gets hot, you scrunch your nose and smell a tinge of sweat. Are they too young for deodorant?
