Breastfeeding
Since you can’t measure the amount of milk your child drinks when you are breastfeeding, you should keep track of the number of times you breastfeed in a day. From 0 to 3 months, a baby should be fed six to ten times per day. Don't be surprised if your baby asks for it more often! If you breastfeed at your child’s demand, he will get the right amount of milk to satisfy his hunger.
Bottle
When using a bottle, there are minimum and maximum quantities to respect. Beware… When your baby cries, it’s not always out of hunger. There are nevertheless very noticeable growth periods during which your baby will ask to be fed more frequently. Be attentive when your child lets you know he's hungry. This is true for breastfed and bottlefed babies. In general, a newborn will drink every 3-4 hours, except for premature babies who must drink less milk but more often.
