Pregnant after an ectopic

Happy news. I am pregnant. I am very excited and at the same time worried about it. This is my second pregnancy after an ectopic. I was given 2 doses of methotrexate and I was advised not to get pregnant for 6 months. I have been taking contraceptive methods for the past 4 months after the medication. I missed my periods and when I did a card test, the result came out to be positive. I had also undergone a laser hair removal treatment from a clinic in Mississauga last month. I never thought that I would become pregnant even after taking the contraceptive pills. So my question is, will that cause any side effects to the fetus? I am worried. Please advise.
