5 beautiful handmade Christmas cards

Whether to send wishes by mail or to identify gifts, here are five beautiful DIY Christmas card ideas for you and your children.

Button tree

Making this wonderful card is as easy as can be. Draw a Christmas tree on a card and glue buttons as ornaments. The result is superb, and the work is a piece of cake!

Plastic flowers

This is pretty and creative idea! Use an old soda bottle as a stamp and dip it in paint to add flowers on a cherry tree and Christmas ornaments on a Christmas tree! It is easy and fun, even for the little ones!

Santa Claus

With thick paper, red paint (or red fabric), glitter, a bit of glue, black ribbon and a white boa bought in a dollar store, you can make all your Christmas cards at once. If you want to make this one, a tutorial is available on Meylah’s blog.

Fingers and toes

This card is beautiful for your baby’s first Christmas! For older kids, just protect the floor and let them walk barefoot on thin white paper to print footprints with paint, and you can put it all together to send to your family and friends.

Christmas tree glamour

Here is another great idea found on Dinks! As easy to make as it is great to receive, the card only requires a pit of paint or pastels to draw the tree, a bit of glue and some glitter for the garland.

My child is smelly!

Your child is now 6 years old. The innocence of childhood still shines brightly in his or her eyes but… they're smelly! When your child gets hot, you scrunch your nose and smell a tinge of sweat. Are they too young for deodorant?
